Dillon Ray Gant, 35, of Festus died June 5, 2026, at his home. Mr. Gant worked as an air system cleaning specialist. He was Christian and enjoyed spending time with family. He will be remembered for his hugs, jokes, late-night talks and the way he made people feel seen. Born Aug. 23, 1990, in Festus, he was the son of Linda Loesch and Donald Gant of Festus.
He is survived by two children: Weston Gant and Chancey Boy; his significant other: Nicole Russell of Festus; three siblings: Brandi (Donald) Polk of Festus, Brook Pulliam of Festus and Crystal Nelson of St. Louis; 10 nieces and nephews: Jessica Tripp of Farmington, Katelyn Keathley of Hillsboro, Macey Bourisaw of Festus, Demi Polk of Festus, Bryce Nelson of Festus, Leasha Nelson of Festus, Aydin Nelson of Festus, Antonio Pulliam of Festus, Alliyah Pulliam of Festus and Ace Underwood of Festus; 11 great-nieces and great-nephews; and numerous other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by four grandparents: LeVaughn and Darlene Loesch and Denver and Jeannette Gant.
A celebration of life is scheduled from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, June 20, at the Knights of Columbus Lake, North Third St., in Festus. Memorials may be made to the family.
