Ryan Wayne Clark, 22, of Arnold has been charged with two felonies, following a domestic dispute this morning (Jan. 18) at the Avion Ridge apartment complex off Richardson Road in Arnold, authorities report.

Arnold Police got a call at 9:03 a.m. from the victim who “said she was being threatened with a firearm,” Detective Danny Gierer said.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found Clark inside the apartment, along with a firearm and what is suspected to be marijuana and drug paraphernalia, Gierer said.

The victim had locked herself inside the bedroom, and was not hurt, he said.

Clark was taken into custody without incident, Gierer added.

The gun, the substance believed to be marijuana and the drug paraphernalia were seized as evidence, he said.

The Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office filed charges against the man today for alleged possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, a class B felony, and alleged unlawful use of firearm, a class D felony.

The class B felony is punishable by five to 15 years in prison, and the other felony carries a penalty up to four years.
