Jewelry and electronics were stolen July 27 from a home in the 3800 block of Crystal Wood Drive in the Arnold area, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.

The victims’ daughter had several people at the home that day, so the Sheriff’s Office suspects that one or more of those guests stole the items, the report said.

Stolen items included a men’s white gold ring with topaz and diamonds; a yellow gold serpentine necklace and bracelet; a women’s yellow gold ring with topaz and diamonds; a men’s yellow gold St. Louis County retirement ring; a men’s Bayless High School class ring with red stones; a yellow gold anchor and cross pendant; a My Passport external hard drive; a white iPod Touch and a computer micro-card reader, according to the report.

In all, the items were valued at $1,000.

One of the daughter’s friends allegedly told the victims that she knew who had stolen the items because she had seen a pawn receipt in one of the suspect’s vehicles, the report said.

The friend also said she believed that the person who stole the items had given some of them to another suspect so that person would not say anything about the theft, according to the report.

No arrests had been made as of Aug. 10, said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriff’s Office.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-6467.
