A car recently was stolen from outside a home in the 1000 block of Sugar Creek Court in the Fenton area, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.

A red 1991 Toyota Corolla was stolen between 12:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. July 25, the report said.

The car was valued at about $1,000, according to the report.

It had been parked behind the home in front of the garage and was unlocked, the report said.

As of Aug. 6, the car had not been recovered and no arrests had been made, said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriff’s Office.
