The Together Group, an advisory committee to the Jefferson County Developmental Disabilities Resource Board, recently raised more than $3,000 with its “Going the Distance for ALL Abilities 5K and one mile Fun Walk/Run.” The event was held in March at West City Park in Festus.

Proceeds will go to the Special Dental Fund to help people with disabilities access emergency dental care.

More than 250 people signed up for the event. Heather Lang was top female coming in at 20:11. Long Pan was the overall male winner coming in at 17:45.
