Rolla E. “Duke” Herbert Jr., 76, of Crystal City and Festus died July 22, 2012, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Crystal City. Mr. Herbert is survived by his wife of 57 years, Beverly (Olson) Herbert.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. today (July 26) at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus. Memorial services are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 27, at First United Methodist Church in Festus, officiated by the Rev. Gary Grey. Memorials may be made to the Rolla Herbert Memorial Scholarship Fund at Commerce Bank, 1319 Truman Blvd., Festus, 63028. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
