Festus man moderately injured in 3:40 a.m. accident

Kevin M. Skiles, 54, of Festus was hurt in a two-car accident at 3:40 a.m. today (May 17) on Hwy. A about 1.1 miles north of I-70 in St. Charles County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

Skiles had been driving a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu west on Hwy. A and was attempting to make a left turn onto a private drive, when a car making a left from the private drive onto Hwy. A struck the Malibu, the report said.

Alan G. Dyer, 59, of Wentzville was driving the other car, a 2008 Cadillac CTS. He was not hurt in the accident, according to the report.

    De Soto motorcyclist, 25, seriously injured in Wednesday accident

    Patrick A. Thurmond, 25, of De Soto was seriously injured at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday (May 15) when his motorcycle struck a van on Hwy. 110 at Old County Road in the De Soto area, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

    David A. Ketchum, 45, of De Soto, who was driving a 2003 Ford E150 van, was involved in the accident, but apparently was not hurt, according to the patrol.

    Dittmer teens, 18 and 19, seriously hurt in one-car accident Tuesday

    74-year-old woman dies in collision on Hwy. 30 at Scotsdale

    A Eureka woman was killed and two other people received minor injuries in a collision at 3:29 p.m. Tuesday (May 14) on westbound Hwy. 30 at Scotsdale Boulevard in Scotsdale, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

    Mary E. Howard, 74, driver of a 2004 Ford Taurus, died in the accident, the patrol reported.

    De Soto woman receives moderate injuries in collision today

    Connie R. Young, 63, of De Soto was hurt in a two-vehicle accident that happened at 12:48 p.m. today (May 6) on Hwy. 61 just north Plattin Road south of Festus, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

    6-year-old boy treated and released after being struck by car

    A 6-year-old High Ridge boy was moderately injured at about 5:25 p.m. Saturday (May 4), when he was struck by a car in the 400 block of Thoreau Trail in High Ridge, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

    Fenton man hurt in one-car accident on Old Lemay Ferry

    Scott T. Reno, 19, of Fenton was hurt in a one-car accident at 11:18 a.m. Sunday (May 5) on Old Lemay Ferry Road just north of Spring Forest Drive in Imperial, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

    Reno was driving a 2001 Ford Mustang north on Old Lemay Ferry and ran off the right side of the road, where his car struck a mailbox and tree, the report said.

    Dittmer woman injured in collision with deer

    Phebe M. Lurtz, 52, of Dittmer received moderate injuries when she tried to avoid a collision with a deer very early this morning (May 2) in Cedar Hill, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

    Lurtz, driving a 2002 Buick Century, was eastbound on Hwy. 30, west of Ficken Road at 4:30 a.m., when she “attempted to miss hitting a deer,” the patrol reported. Her vehicle ran off the right side of the road and overturned, the report said.

    Dittmer man dies in fiery crash after 2 a.m. Saturday

    Johnny B. Kramer, 53, of Dittmer died from injuries he sustained in a one-vehicle accident that happened at 2:16 a.m. Saturday (April 27) at Hwy. 30 and Industrial Drive in Cedar Hill, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.

    According to a witness interviewed at the scene, Kramer was driving west on Hwy. 30 in the right lane, veered a little to the right and struck a traffic signal post at the intersection with Industrial Drive, the report said.

    Dittmer man in satisfactory condition after motorcycle wreck

    John D. Stiefferman, 55, of Dittmer was hurt in a motorcycle accident that happened about 12:05 p.m. today (April 30) on Hwy. 30 just west of High Ridge Boulevard in High Ridge, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

    Stiefferman was driving a 1997 Kawasaki Vulcan east on Hwy. 30 and lost control of the bike as he prepared to make a turn, and then the bike overturned and he was ejected, the report said.

    Cedar Hill woman injured in one-vehicle accident this morning

    Ginny S. Gregory, 51, of Cedar Hill was moderately injured in a one-vehicle accident at 6:12 a.m. today (April 30) on Scenic View Drive at Hwy. 30 in House Springs, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

    Gregory was driving a 2007 Jeep Liberty north on Scenic View and ran off the left side of the road, where the vehicle overturned, the report said.

    David R. Prosser, 46, of De Soto was hurt in a two-vehicle crash at 6:14 p.m. Friday (April 26) on southbound Hwy. 67 north of Oakvale Road in the De Soto area, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

    Three Jefferson Countians were hurt in a three-vehicle accident that happened about 8:25 a.m. today (April 25) on Seckman Road at Golden Gate Drive in Imperial, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

    Richard E. Neal, 17, of Imperial was hurt in a one-car accident at 9:30 p.m. Friday (April 19) on Binning Road west of Lions Den Road in Imperial, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

    Motorcyclist injured in traffic pileup on I-55

    A Perryville man who was thrown from his motorcycle was treated and released at St. Anthony’s Medical Center after a traffic pileup this morning (March 20) shut down northbound I-55 just north of Hwy. Z in Pevely, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

    High Ridge teen, William Ivy, 16, dies in one-car accident

    William R. Ivy, 16, of High Ridge died this morning (March 18) from injuries suffered three days earlier in a car accident at Hwy. B and Cedar Hill Road in Cedar Hill.

    Cedar Hill man injured when ejected from Caravan

    Hwy. 110 near De Soto closed following dump truck rollover

    One person was injured in a crash Friday afternoon (March 8) when a dump truck overturned and hit a Chevrolet SUV on Hwy. 110 near Zufall Lane just north of De Soto.
