Joshua Orion Taylor, 21, of Dittmer died June 7, 2013, in Cedar Hill. Mr. Taylor was the son of Bryan (Michele) Taylor of Dittmer and Kim (Doyle) Taylor of St. Charles.

Funeral services were held June 11 at Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill. Burial was in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Joshua Taylor Baseball/Softball Memorial Fund, C/O Eagle Bank and Trust, P.O. Box 606, Cedar Hill, 63016. Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.

    Sr. Mary Agnes Hermes, 90, of Alton, Ill., formerly of Crystal City, died June 13, 2013, at the Ursuline Queen of Peace Health Care Center in Alton. Sr. Hermes was the daughter of the late Edward Andrew and Gertrude Agnes (Bergschneider) Hermes.
